Ron
Fraser grew up in Kearny, NJ and moved to
Ocean County in 1963. He graduated from
Toms River High School in 1966. Ron owned
and operated an electronic repair business
until he received a call to serve the Lord.
He was sent out by Community
Bible Fellowship with several others to
plant a church. He pastored in that church
for 17 years, returning to Community Bible
Fellowship as a co-pastor. Presently, he
is amember of Prince of Peace Community
Church in Lacey.
In
his early years of pastoring it was evident
that Ron’s giftedness was in counseling.
He attended the Christian Counseling and
Education Foundation. He received his Bachelors
Degree in Theology from International Seminary.
He later received a Master of Arts in Counseling
Psychology from Carolina University and
then his Doctorate of Christian Counseling
from Andersonville Baptist Seminary.
While doing his studies, Ron
attended the Child Assault Prevention Project and later attended the Community
Justice Institute for Community Mediation Service of Atlantic County.
Ron holds a certification in
Pastoral Counseling from Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation and is
certified by the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (N.A.N.C.). He is
also a member of the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists (A.B.M.P).
In his spare time, Ron likes
to ride his motorcycle and also enjoys participating in truck racing at Atco
Racetrack. He spends time fishing and golfing.
